hmm...i was flipping through this at la grande bibliotheque (yes, i made my return...) yesterday and i'm not sure about the judgement (or lack thereof) that they are exercising....their number 12 album of the year was "planet earth" or whatever it's called (not like the title is anywhere on the hologram cover or anything), seriously one of the worst Prince albums EVER, though to be fair, his last four have been negligable. i know they've sold well, but they're lacking that certain..prince-ness. guess maybe van hunt found it or something. (don't even talk to me about bilal). they mentioned "mister goodnight", like it was just some forgivable slight, not just pure nonsense (and not in a good way like "starfish and coffee"). did he seriously sell that many albums? then, their number 11 album? Lil' Wayne. damn. though he probably
did sell that many albums.
the kanye interview is interesting though. i like, "looks incredulous": I'm black, of course I was inspired by michael jackson.
they didn't mention that he and will.i.am (yikes, i'm sorta scared yet excited for this one) will be amongst the re-workers of the anniversary thriller album..coming soon.
ok, all for now. but in closing, how dope is 9th wonder?
