“condescend”, unlike “text” or “favorite” IS actually a verb.
my apologies to andrew moodie, for cringing every time i heard the line “don’t condescend to me” in his play that i saw twenty times in twenty three nights during my stint as a theatre usher a few years back.
that said, it still sounds terrible, but there i go, getting all self-righteous again (sigh).
